[The title refers to this excellent “Why Procrastinators Procrastinate” article – a must-read for any chronic procrastinator, such as myself, and helpful for any non-procrastinator who might want to try and understand why we do what we do 😅]
Anyways, the fear of public embarrassment is what brings me to writing a blog post (my first one nonetheless) at 4am on a Friday night even though I need to wake up shortly for a virtual Zumba class at 10am.
My friend, Kayla, published a blog post just yesterday on remote work success stories and I got featured! This was super exciting until I realized that I had provided my website… and I hadn’t touched my website in months. So I felt the need to update it and make it look decent enough to reflect who I am and be ready to share my story.
I feel like I could go into so many details about the story behind my website, how I built a remote career during the pandemic, and so many more things, but I think it’s enough to stop here. I set up my website back in May 2020, but I feel like I’ve made more progress in the past 24 hours than I have since then, so this is a start 😅
Thanks for reading and I’m excited to continue sharing more of my story with you!
